How are y’all doing? I had an awesome month filled with work, visiting so many new places and of-course May being my much loved month because it is my Birthday! We all get a chance to become a kid again though we are growing old, which I completely hate. I think this year’s birthday was one of the best till date, a few people to celebrate, but truly special ones. I love being dressy like any other girl would on birthdays and this outfit just struck in my mind a few days before the day. All my outfit pieces just fell into place and this is how the look was completed. I wanted to wear a long floral flared skirt with a crop top but I could not really find one at the right time. But, this floral skirt was equally stealing my heart; it is so beautiful that I did not want to pair it with anything random like plain black! After searching many online stores, I couldn’t find that piece that would complement the look yet look so amazing, so I decided to get this stitched and design it as per my requirements. After I got this stitched, it looked really appealing; I decided to give a shirt crop kind of a look! Now, there is a little shoe story to these beauties that you spot! I think I had been searching all the cities wherever Zara is located and I so so wanted these pair of golden beauties. But, somehow it was never in my luck! I always got a negative response about size issues or it being a damaged piece. To my surprise, as I met one of my closest friends, I received these as a gift and it made me feel on Cloud 9! Haha! I immediately changed into them 😛
The golden bag matched my shoes and these marvelous earrings gave my face the required glam. The watch I am adorning has a bigger story than the shoes! In short, the things that were always lying in my shopping cart came to me as gifts from my lovely friends! From a good peaceful lunch, opening the surprises, clicking loads and loads of pictures, bearing the pain of the heels – all day long and having he yummiest red velvet cake. These pictures were taken from my phone as I did not have the DSLR and I did not want to re shoot because of the pretty background these pictures have. They did not turn out so bad in clarity, or did they?
Let me know how you do like my outfit and have a lovely day ahead.
