Happy Diwali to all you beautiful people, It was a great start to the festivities and ofcourse how can we girls stop flaunting our ethnic dresses and all that jazz..
But hey! Did I tell you that I hit 1000+ followers on my instagram handle? Some of you may be thinking it’s really common, but for me its a huge thing and I would love to thank each one of you for finding my acccount worth following and appreciating my posts, it means a lot to me 🙂
This is by far one of my favorite posts and is so amazingly shot by Anees Tasneem Shaik, I can’t stop adoring at how she just made all the colors and details of the dress stand out. She makes me feel pretty, Haha!
Starting with the attire I opted for, if you check my blog you would see I am not much of an Indian or a Ethnic person. Personally I believe it doesnt suit my body type but people around me this year wanted me to wear Indian for Diwali. Still in two minds I happened to approach Harmann who owns the designer brand label, Caipiroska. This is what she created for me 😀
Dress – Caipiroska by Harmann Kaur; Double Chandbalis – Jewellery by Astha Jagwani, Haath Phool – Splash, India; Kolhapuris; Mom’s; Clutch – Gift .
The dress is basically a plain golden khadi kurta with a satin dhoti kind of a sawlar with and amazing color combination. While I feel it doesn’t need much accessorizing as it is elegant this way and how I love Gold!! A simple gold kolhapuri with a pearly haath phool added so much to it.
Since the kurta is close collared, my love for Chandbalis just got a chance to takeover (grins) 😀
You can find beautiful jewellery by Astha Jagwani, her pieces make me drool over them, here I am sporting the double chandbalis that go prefectly well with my look 🙂
I am totally in love with this look 😀
Do pour in your feedback on how do you like it? Also post your Diwali looks below 🙂
